Steering Box
I have changed out the steering box in my 1936 Ford for a 1938 box which is supposed to
make for easier steering. The steering sector on the left is from a 38 and the one on the right is from a 36

The 36 lock will mount on a 38 shaft but the lock collar has to be relocated an inch or so by drilling
a new hole in the 39 steering shaft so the 36 lock will fit. The steering column lock on the left is a 36 and the right is a 38.

Rear transmission mount
A 37-40 transmission mounting bracket uses rubber motor mounts for less vibration than the 36 solid mounts.
The 36 has a solid mount that is bolted directly to the frame. The 37 mount uses the same rubber mounts as the
front motor mounts. The 36 rear bracket can be used on the 37-40 mounts. 36 solid transmission mounts after I removed them from the frame.
